Thumbs up External 3800mAH Battery Pack for PSP Review

Lik Sang recently sent me the External 3800mAH Battery Pack for reviewing and it gets a massive thumbs up from me and most importantly it was safe to use on my precious v1.0 PSP Console, heres an excerpt from that review:

The pack came in a rigid plastic casing which protected it will. The External Battery itself has shown above is a small square shaped design that fits easily into your pocket and the long cable makes it great for playing on the move, the awesome thing about these External Batterys is that you can be playing and charge the internal battery at the same time, so when your in the middle of a game your not going to die at the 3 hour mark. The battery itself on my tests lasted for 8 hours which fantastically improves on the internal battery.

As long as it is constructed better than my Pelican Brick which packed in after a few uses - what a load of crap that was!!

The new internal battery is coming out soon, so I would hold out on an external one, unless you really want one.

I wonder if that would give too much power? It is possible but I would doubt it.

nope, not possible ...unless they made the voltage on the battery too high...speaking of voltage, does anyone know what voltage these external batteries are rated at? I'm guessing 5V, since they say you can have the "ultra-bright" setting with the battery pack....if anyone could check, I'd greatly appreciate it....

btw, I want to know this because I'm probably gonna buy a few of these batteries to use in my homemade portables (check my avatar....GCp ) anyway, at only $25, I'd say that's a damn good price for such a high capacity battery ...and it's li-ion, too !!! er, I think it is, anyway
