Go for it Sony! Go for it..

Sony is happy at the moment. PS3 sales have almost tripled in the US, and new official figures from Japan have revealed that Sony's console has actually outsold the seemingly unstoppable Wii for the first time ever.
For the week ending November 11, Media Create figures put PS3 sales at 55, 924, while Wii only managed 34,546.
This is great news for Sony, whose sales were probably helped along by the recent release of Dydnasty Warriors 4 - the latest in the mundane hack-'em-up that those guys seem to lap up.
The PSP did well, too, with over 58,000 sales - just 20,000 behind the DS with 78,000 sales. Could this be a turning point for Sony? Here's the complete list of hardware sales in Japan for the week ending November 11:
- DS - 78,884
- PSP - 58,964
- PS3 - 55,924
- Wii - 34,546
- PS2 - 9,043
- Xbox 360- 5,817
- GB Micro - 708
- GBASP - 211
- GC - 69
- GBA - 4
Go for it Sony! Go for it..
Good for them, but I'm sure Wii will be better next week.
Yeah, that's the answer that every half-guy/half-girl person will have.
well that can be expected, wii is further on in itsproduct lifecycle than ps3 so sales would be expected to decline. ps3 is still in the growth stages. comparing two products at different stages of their lifecycle doesn't really say much.
bull, x
GBA - 4 ???
I didn't know that these figures were that exactly![]()
yeah they still have the old gba in stores
Heres what people dont seem to get. Ninty only shipped 34,546 units lol. Its called a shortage. I Guarantee if they had shipped 55,925 thats how many they would have sold. Its not that the Wii is slowing down by any means. Its just that people can never buy more consoles than there are to buy. Wii is on track to be the DS of consoles. The freak on nature that sells well every month for like 4 years lol.
Why are game sales so low in Japan as compared to US and Europe?
In any case, this is probably due to the price drop. The same happend to the 360, so its only natural for the PS3 too.
