recomended mod chip

sup everyone i need help picking out a mod chip for my xbox. the only thing is ive never modded a game system befor so i have no clue what to do but my brothers gonna put it in for me but i jsut need to know what to get. any suggestions?

well. if your brother is handy with an iron get an X3... no question the X3 is the greatest! I still have a X2 CE, but im quite comfortable with it too!

no prob, you wont regret the x3 - though you'll have to ass a little to your price tag.

thats another thing is the price the x2.6 is alot cheaper and u said u have it. can u run alot of the homemade apps like xbmc and some of the emulators, cuz i wont really know how to use it right and if i can do most of the stuff i want on the cheaper mod chip thats still one of the best i will prolly just get it.

Find out what version xbox you have before ordering a chip...

i have the newest xbox so it would be 1.6

eesh. thats gonna be a bitch. your going to probably NEED a X3 with a solderless adapter now... Go to teamxecuter.com and read up on whats up with the 1.6.
