Please Help!

Alright,
So I downloaded this: http://dl.qj.net/Firmwares/pg/12/fid/13179/catid/163 and put it on my PSP. Now my PSP start up menu won't load. Its on but the screen is black. Also, the backlights are on. Any info?

The recovery mode I downloaded works... But I'm not sure where to go with it.
