psp PSP Dosbox 26/11/07 Released(Updated) - Dos Emulator for PSP

CrazyC has released a new version and updated of his Dos emulator for the PSP and this release supports PSP Slims.

    Heres the release info:

Here is a test build for 3.xx kernels. It's completely untested other then I know it starts on my fat with the 3.52 kernel. It should work on the slim but at the moment, it doesn't use the extra RAM. http://home.wi.rr.com/crazyz/EBOOT.PBP Also, those bus error crashes a few pages back can be avoided by using dos32a, but GTA1 still doesn't work because it runs out of memory.

Atomic made a package for users to download rather than sorting it all out themselves.

    He also added this:

I made a stupid error that caused this and put up a new version, try getting it again. If you have a fat, use the 1.5 version for now as it still has several advantages.

dont think so you just need a navigator like dnd and a *.bat to config the keys for the game

If you have an old PSP, just use this pack:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/56706485...osBox_0.71.rar

This is for the old PSP ONLY, since it has no 3.xx suport, it runs with the old 1.5 kernel.

Use aTomic's version to play on PSP slim. If u have any questions, download the release from the link I gave above, sinec it includes a manual, which answers most of your questions, I suppose!

Additionally, The version above features a navigator, Dos Navigator 1.51 and an already tweaked config.cfg which uses the maximum of RAM of the old PSP and many many more .. just try it out

Does anybody know what improvements the new release has? Any change in the SB glitches or speed increases?

Is there a virtual keyboard added yet?. You know, to make it, say, user friendly?.

I don't mean to insult the project as from what I've seen it looks fantastic but I'm at a total loss at how I load a game. It's very difficult.

If this emu had a nice virtual keyboard implemented it'd be used and praised by much more of the community.

    Keep up the good work!.

Couldn't agree more. Usability suffers incredibly much with the current "keyboard" scheme. A nice graphical virtual keyboard like used in several other emulators (c64, atari etc) would actually make people try this thing and thus help squash bugs.
