PSP downloaded games

Hello, this is my first post, so im not sure if it is in the right place. I have just bought a preowned PSP.
Apparently my firmware or whatever its called is 3.11.
I desperately want to get Doom on it, and ive tried downloading PSPDoom, but it just explained thath it was corrupted. Is it possible to play doom, or any other download game for that matter, on my PSP?

You have to get a custom firmware, because homebrew is not compatible with the original Sony firmware

you can buy a pandora, and a jigstick, and that installs it like automatically

if you have 3.11 you can upgrade to 3.50, then using the game lummines (unpatch) and if you download some software of the net (type to google 3.50 downgrade and im sure u will find it) u can downgrade to 1.50 then you will be able to put a custom firmware on you psp
