Default Need to Replace a Wii BlueTooth Chip

The dam Bluetooth chip is definitely fried. (don't ask) I can't connect any Wiimotes to the unit. I know it's the BT chip because I popped in another one from a good Wii temporarily and it worked. So if anyone is willing to piece out a broken Wii with a good BT chip or knows where I can get one please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Try Ebay...

Or forget the whole altogether... I wouldn't experiment, try warranty ^^ or buy a new Wii altogether (it's x-mas soon, so why not ?)

Bluetooth in the Wii? I though it didn't have that. Maybe you mean the WiFi card. Anyway, like pas said, trying looking on eBay or so and you might be able to find a replacement.

Nope, Nintendo Wii has both WiFi and Bluetooth. WiFi for Internet and Nintendo DS connectivity. Bluetooth is for the Wiimote connectivity to the Wii.
