For what it's worth I think the sig looks fine. Not too fussed about the pale border though. As long as you like it is all that matters anyway.

As for tutorials, there's too many out there. I'd suggest just googling for some or even buying a book if you're totally new to it.

That sig's alright, but it's a bit grey and for some reason the left side looks as though you've sharpened it loads.
