UK PSP PSU in the US?

Ok, sorry to ask what might be considered a stupid question - but can a PSP charger bought in the UK be used in the States with a simple 3 pin to 2 pin converter?

I only ask because it says on the back of my charger "input 100V - 240V".

Yes it can it says 100V - 240V cos 110 is europe and america and uk is 240 they are made this way to comply with iso standards
