Its a known bug and should of been fixed on the first reboot, or even windows update
i had this same problem! eventually went way after the first reboot! try windows update is still is occurs contact microsoft :thumbup:

Computer crashes because of PSP?
If I've connected my PSP at all to computer when it is on then if I leave it until the screensaver comes on, a blue screen appears telling me that my hardware is not installed properly or something like that. I have no connecting any iPods, USB disks or anything like that so I assume it is my PSP. IF so what could be causing it?

Nope, I have XP not Vista. It has not done this before with the PSP. It started on Saturday.
