has any1 experienced w/ psp-290 getting "stuck" after a certain time with GPS ON? basically, the gps becomes non-responsive and u'd have to restart mapthis to get it working again

Same here, although really seldomly (once in at least a few months). Because it happens so seldomly I can't really test why it doesn't work anymore...

Same thing happened to me yesterday and today, after installing the map this! v0501. A few seconds after it got a fix it lost the connection and was unable to reconnect despite the gps info showing the sat fixes. v0491 had no probs like that.

accuracy: personally I haven't seen any crashes for a long time (since 0.5 I think). You could try with an almost empty memory stick (format as FAT32), this has helped some people.

well the wierd thing is that when the app locks up, i can still use the Homebutton , and change volume or return "home", etc.

But if i use the 4.99 version it doesn't do this.

I reformatted using fat32, and still the 5.2 freezes after a while.

    --edit--
I changed the version of my MaptThis, to Nieko's, and it works fine now.
    Thanks!
