International versions of DS Lite

If you purchase a DS Lite in the UK and bring it to Germany, can you play a multiplayer game against a DS purchased there? Will the units talk, what language will the game be in? Thanks!

I got my original Nintendo DS from the US and it works fine for UK games. As for language, well, it depends on the game. If it has multiple languages to choose from and english is one, you'll be fine.

beware using american games and trying to play multiplayer against a european or japanese games - it will not work for most games (tried it with mario kart)

in that respect the games must be of the same region (U to U, E to E, J to J, etc)
