i can't get this piano homebrew to tun on my ds r4.. there are touch screen issues, i suppose anyway, i read somewhere on this site that you should recompile the app with the latest devkitpro. as i do not know how to do this or anything i would very much appreciate a bit of help

ok.. i have r4 ds with m3 ver7. i have tried some homebrew stuff before, like ds sample player and some happy cat. now i've tried PianoVero, but ti didn't work. i couldn't touch any of the tangents. it seemed like the touch screen didn't work at all! so, i began searching the internet...

here it says something about recompiling the .ds file with the latest devkitpro software, and i have absolutely no idea how to do so! won't anybody please help me?

where did you download it from?

there's the possibility that it's a really old slot2 homebrew and doesn't have a dldi section in it at all

it works just fine for me on my R4

which version are you sticking on your card?

you need the .nds, not .gba.nds or .sc.nds

ps, you have an R4
which firmware? get the latest

well... i have m3dss v1.07... the r4 kernels for download at the official site doesn't quite work... whenever i try to use the english kernel on that site, there pops up a message on my ds with three exclamtion marks and something on chinese, that i don't understand...

i just tried dling the chinese version of r4, but it seems as if it's only 1.12. pianovero still not working..

you can't just alternate between m3 and r4 firmware......
