Japanesse Hardwares Sales, 3rd December - 9th December
The console hardware sales situation in Japan are as follows:
Ninteno DS Lite: 168,255
Nintendo Wii: 115,057
Playstation Portable: 91,481
Playstation 3: 38,123
Playstation 2: 11,987
Xbox 360: 8,876
Game Boy Advance SP: 94
Gamecube: 46
Game Boy Micro: 20
Nintendo DS original: 12
Nindendo DS Lite, Wii, PSP, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, Gamecube and GBA SP get increases, the first the mentioned a big upwards surge in sales. Game Boy Micro stays exactly the same. All the others experience a drop.

So, that's it for Sony selling more PS3 than Nintendo sold Wii's. It seems it was just a shortage issue.

some game came out and intro of the 40GB ver pushed sales and beat the Wii for 3 weeks
