PS3 help

PS3 wont connect to internet, tried everything for months now and still no luck.

I am using a wireless router that works fine when using my laptop around the house and even when sitting next to PS3 and can pick up the SSID when i scan.

i have tried putting in info using manual and automatic and have had many different errors over the months.

now i get to the point of finding ip address but then failing to connect with connection error code 80028EA6

i have google this and read to turn router on and off which has not worked.

has anybody had this problem or have any advice so i can finally connect to the PS3 network

make sure ur router isnt blockin the ps3, check settings and try and look up the port codes of the ps3 to stop the router firewallin the console, touch wood ive had no problems with mine. hope this helps.
