Default Double checking hardware version before downgrade

    Hi all,

I've been reading various how-to docs, and have the 3.50 downgrader ready to go on a memory stick...

But before I do, I want to double check against my hardware.

    Firmware: 3.50

Hardware says IC6001 and IC1003, which leads me to believe it's a TA-082.

    The box says PSP-1001, SS259 S.

So as far as I can tell I'm good to go with the downgrader released last week.... except that the S code on the box has me wondering.

Previously I'd read that the safe bet was versions before the letter K.

But the hacks move a lot faster than the search engines so I came here to ask the pros

Should it be okay to go ahead? Or is my hardware still slightly ahead of the tech?

I'm hoping to have it downgraded in time to put it under the tree Xmas morning.

    Cheers.

    Ah screw it.

If nobody knows, I'm probably safer to just go with a Pandora.
