Recent Downtime Woes

Hi sorry again for the recent downtime, on the 18th of December at around 6pm we were hit by something that caused all our databases to be corrupted, Martin did try to fix them but to no avail and he missed an important exam in the process, it became apparant later that it was most likely an hardware failure and so the DCEmu Network was moved to a new much faster server, we have now found the error and it was down to the ram on the original server.

Thanks again to Martin for the hard work fixing all the databases and reinstalling etc,

time to play catch up tonight, expect a massive amount of news

Good that its just downtime. Thought that random user posting about a hacked site was right about them coming here....

By hit, do you mean by a foreign 'virus", trojan or some user (hacker?)

These downtimes are actually getting quite annoying as they happen so much more here than other places, and this is my favourite page :/ I hope the new server is much more stable.
