Help with backups

I'm trying to burn a few backup images (Soul Calibur for example) but the problem is that the files are way too big to for a CD-R (772mb cdi). I've tried to look for some kind of compression program for this but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

And btw, why do you want to play backups? They can damage your laser and originals cost about 5$. There is absolutely no reason for using pirated copys.
