I'm fairly sure it's 32mb. But around 10-20mb would be used by the emulator itself.
The thread got closed before i got a chance to reply. my question was how much resident memory does the psp have. and would it be possible to load a rom into upper memory and run it from there. (question is directed tword quzar)

Since the PSP has ram restrictions is there any way at all to get around it?
I am not a coder so I wouldn't know, but would Vram(virtual ram)
help at all? could there be a way to convert some of the memory sticks space into vram?
no, just no. WAY too slow, it just doesnt work. Since the original question and the followup were both answered...
