How do you get enough money for commercial failures?

I'm not saying I have a strong intention to buy a PS3 now, but it seems more fun than the Wii. No, I'm not a Sony fanboy (I'm quite the contrary.) I owned a Wii and was disappointed with it, but the PS3 seems to be getting some good games finally, such as Call of Duty 4. I also find it ridiculous how Nintendo is creating a shortage of Wiis to create demand. To be fair, other companies have done the same.

why not a 360? Call Of Duty 4 is also available there.

well, i have mario galaxy now and i must say, it is really really fun.
kinda hard to understand and get used to at first but after you figure everything out its no harder than mario 64.
