I know you want to do the right thing.. but you sincerely can't let people like that ruin your life. You want to look out for others.. but who will look out for you?

I'm not saying that you should be entirely selfish and screw over everyone else, but.. you can only take so much and give so much before you need to look out for yourself. As they say: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool my twice, shame on me"

Your brother is a mirror image of my dad. His ass is still in prison, still trying to mooch off everyone.

Best thing you can do is leave his ass in the cold and let him realize what he did to you and everyone else and that only he can fix/change it.

You could also do as I did, join the Navy. That will get you away from any assh0le you want to forget about for a while.

Not really for me to get away from someone, just to get away from everything and see the world for a while. It's a blast so far. I love my job and everyone I work with (so far). It was just a suggestion if blueshogun96 wanted to leave that sh*t for a while. Plus getting college paid for ($60k+) and the training is killer.

Next year I'm going to see if I can get into the academy to play football for the Navy.

The story continues. Now Rent-A-Center has started up the processing of filing a law suit. They know where the fridge is and they should have that by tommorow. His ass better be there. I saw my brother earlier today when getting some of my remaining belongings and he said that he was going to have them get the fridge today or tommorow. Since I've heard him say that numerous times, instead of just trusting him and taking his word for it, I went directly to Rent-A-Center and got a copy of the contract and went to the cops about this $#@!. So I went over to where he's staying now and asked him about the fridge. He said that he called Rent-A-Center and told them to come tommorow to get it. Still not confident in his words, I told him I called the cops over too. Since he's already with felonies on his record, he was getting mad. Then he wanted me to call off the cops, but it was too late, the cops already got there. Then he was saying tell them I'm not home. I told him that I'm not lying to the cops. I'm not that f@#%ing stupid to lie to the cops here. Since we are dealing with "Stolen property" here, that would be obstruction of justice. It's bad enough he's already f@#%ed up my credit, but when it comes down to f@#%ing up my record, that s@#% ain't happening because my record is 100% clean, not even a speeding ticket!

*Sigh* I'm to old for this nonsense...

Oh, and thanks for the Navy offer. I heard that Navy training was tough, but it helps "de-wussifying" America.

The training is actually light compared to the other branches. I got a hell of a job too, advanced computers and electronics field tech. If you got the drive to do it, it's totally worth it. Best benefits by far are paid school and guaranteed meals and housing, with a great possibility of travel around the world.

Your brother sounds like my dad. Just let it all roll over on to him, it's not going to hurt you any if you do. He'll do the time and you could also roll the credit stuff on to him too by taking him to court about it. He's fu*king up your credit, this is your chance to stick it to him and get your stuff worked out without worrying about his mooching ass. Sounds like with the record he has, he must like doing time.
