I would say guitar hero series, final fantasy series, burnout 3 & 4, sd gundam g generation seed and backward compatibillity

I was waiting for this one LOL

There's just tons of great games for the ps2, but I'll narrow them to my personal top five

1) God of War 1, the game that redefined the word kickass
2) Devil May Cry 3, Best in series, with all new features, styles and the exact difficulty. Something DMC4 would have to match or surpass
3) Burnout Revenge, IMO the best racing game ever made, pure fun (Dominator was truly a letdown)
4) Final Fantasy X, the first FF game I ever finished, awesome graphics
5) Resident Evil 4, awesome, but it's not an exclusive

not really a GTA fan, they're fun and everything, but I don't know

resident evil 4, completed that in every way possible and still play it a year after buying it.

and bit off track but, worst game: metal gear solid 2.
could of been awesome, the engine and tech behind it was good, but the writing and story let it down.
edit: all of the tony hawks up till THAW, that went a bit awry, but it was still fun.

Gitaroo Man. Came out in 2001, well before Guitar Hero, and to me a bit more fun.
