Surprisingly it's doing a decent job on the homebrew scene actually.
Commercially it seems Nintendo will not work on this handheld anymore, but I would like to see a new game at least from other developer. Long life GBA!![]()
The GBA Scene has slowed over the years but with the ability to play on the DS still keeps the scene alive and the quality is near commercial and in some cases better than. For fans of the GBA scene heres a question for you:
What are your Hopes for the GBA in the forthcoming year ?

i think it will last a while longer because the ds scene is growing and the GBA is renewed within the ds..
ok.. that sounds a little wierd because i'm tired and i'm going to sleep now :P hehe
i havent seen much activity in the gba scene as much as the other ones, but i hope it keeps going.
hope the big N realeses a new portable console soon! something both inuvative and have great hardware specs!
I have no hopes for the GBA. Aside from the Gameboy Book Reader (which is still the best handhand book reader around), gba frotz and agb_hack/agb_rogue, I don't use my GBA anymore (shoulder buttons almost gone anyways). The SP was a sweet compact little unit and I would buy a new one if any more homebrew was being developed.
I hope for more good homebrew games. It is the no 1 consol om all times.
And i hope for a port of the neo geo pocket coloor game SNK Vs capcom cardfighter clash 1 and 2
And hope somone could make a very simpel veriso of tower defence, like one of the flash versions
