flv is already possible through psptube, but oncsidering the in built flashplayer cant handle youtube i doubt it would be viable to use it to mkae the xmb support flv files.
divx has been done, but the resoloution has to be quite low, and i neveer worked out how you could change that easily.
and isnt the 8gb limit, only if you run a homebrew in 1.5 mode then try and acces files, suurely in the xmb or 3.xx kernel the whole 8gb can be accesed fine.
edit: also on the gameboot front, wopuldnt it be possible to flash a fraction of a second long gameboot, and that way skip is so to speak?

In all seriousness I wouldn't mind seeing a tool to download and place things on your psp without a PC. Built in of course. Kinda like the iPod Touch Installer app.
