Default Help. I am new and need help!!

    Hi everyone.
I am new here and would appreciate some help.
I have an original PSP which my friend has updated to official Sony 3.71 Firmware. I have downloaded a PS1 game from the Playstation store which works fine.
However, I have also downloaded a PS1 game in eboot format. When I try to play it I get "copyright protection invalid" error. I have looked into this on the internet and think that I need to have custom 3.71 Firmware m33 or something similar.
Can anybody help me as I would like to play games I download. Can you please make it easy for me to understand as it all looks too complicated for a "newbie" with different kernels etc ( too confusing for an old geezer!)
Can anyone please pm me with some help on how to change my firmware. It would be greatly appreciated.

if your on 3.71OFW you will have downgrade via the pandora method i would recomend using despetar cementario V3 works for fats and slims and installs 3.71m33 direct.

I would use the upms mem stick get it here http://www.upms-project.com/modules....op=getit&lid=2 But you need a psp running custom firmware to make any pandora memstick ad the one above runs totally from a psp with custom firmware and saves all the mspformat and mspinstall on the pc (good news if you run vista). and then just follow this tutorial on how to set up http://www.upms-project.com/modules....utoriaux&did=2
