personnaly i have tried every way and i have only a black screen ! i think that problem come from "usbhostfs.prx" cause i didn't hear the usb sound when i used this plugin (or when i connect usb cable to psp when game is lauched), so i tried with "psplink.prx" and it works great ^^ on 3.90m33

Hi. I have a PSP Slim & Light with 3.71 M33 custom firmware. I tried this tutorial, as well as many other ones and many other versions of Remote Joy, and the only thing I get is a black window or a black screen...

I tried on my two computers, one with XP and one with Win2000 SP4. They both have USB2. I can enabled the plugins in the recovery mode, my computer finds the psp and install it as "PSP Type B", "connected" is written, but the windows stay all black...

Can the problem come from my graphic cards ? One has an old GF440MX and the other has an intel chipset.

Besides, all my games can't exit anymore, each time the psp freezes on "please wait".

Please help. I did read this full topic but I did not find any solution.

you're a liar too. 1 post wonder..hah..if you read even HALFWAY down on the first page you would have seen it only works on fat psps. damn kids need to learn to read.

This is the problem with having a psp and enjoying it, you have to wade through the billions of lying little kid posts everywhere to find decent info. I wish i could find a psp forum with an enforced age limit

First, I did read many times that it does work with slim psps by several different people on several different forums, with this version and older versions of Remote Joy. (nearly sure I read it here as well) The problem was just in the past we were not able to install custom firmware on slim psps but now we can.

Second, I am 25, maybe I speak english like a kid because I am french. But can you speak french as well as I speak english ? I am a game developer, tons of people love my job, my games work on every computers and have no bug. I can't say that about Remote Joy... By the way I gave up trying after I read too many people saying they just can't get it working on their computers. It will simply never work on my computers because of incompatibility or such.

You look angry, though I won't mess with you anymore and spoil this topic, you're just a line on my screen and I prefer ignore you. No need to answer this, I won't read and I won't answer anyway.

hope someone will still help me..

    So, I'm running 3.71 m33-2 (slim)

I enabled those 2 plugins and disabled those unnecessary plugins..

I'm sure I followed the guide and have read the thread.. I also tried pressing F4 and compabilty on XP sp2 .. coz I'm using Vista..

    nothing but a black screen..

also, when I start it, it doesn't state that it's connected..

what could be a remedy for this?

Help would be deeply appreciated, expected and anticipated..
