TUTORIAL: Remote joy on 3.90m33

I'm having problems with remote joy. When i used 3.52 M33-4 firmware, everything works fine. But since i updated to 3.71, the new remote joy had problems loading save files. I thought maybe if i upgraded to 3.90, it would be better. Its a little better, but i can't seem to get the save file to load. Trying to play Crisis Core JPN if that helps.

hey, i did everything you said, but the plugins wont show up when i enter recovery mode. i opened my folder, and added everthing, but still wont show the plugins. :/

edit: nevermind, i got it now thanks, great totu but its still a little bit laggy :/

how did you get it to work? plugins don't don't show up in my recovery mode... i added the files and made the game.txt correctly... i'm running 3.90 m33-2... can anyone else help me?

If you follow the steps exactly, it should work. You are putting it into the SEPlugins folder on the Root directory, right?

On the magic socket problem. I added the screenshotbmp.prx into the plugins folder and ran PSPlink again. It works now. I'm not sure how many unnecessary steps i might of made but i took everything off from my PSP and computer and put them back on, it still didn't work. Until what I did mentioned above.

Edit:Still wondering about the FPS display on the regular screen. Doesn't go away when selecting the regular RemoteJoy.bat

so strange... i did do it EXACTLY how it was written.. and the plugins still dont show up... i dont have any other plugins either...

SEplugins in the root directory... remotejoy.prx and usbhostfs.prx in SEplugins...
game.txt file with
ms0:/SEplugins/usbhostfs.prx
ms0:/SEplugins/remotejoy.prx
.... and still no plugins

is there anyway to get the sound to be on ya pc. coz i would like to use fraps to record my psp, show off my intros themes gameboots etc... on the xmb, also needed the sound would be great coz of click sounds, bootsounds etc.. or am i better off using a cam?

I guess you could connect an audio cable from your psp's headphone out into your Line-in slot in your soundcard, that worked for me.

I dont wanna be mean BUT i must say this,
This is an impossible homebrew(reading the directions carefully doesnt seem to help some apparently) so im just saying maybe some of you should just give up on this,(if you don't have a lot of spare time) or if you do have too much time then keep trying, it might work someday but that day wont be this day or any of the next SIGH

i had a laggy issue which i fixed by reformating flash banks 0-3, just google and grab that .prx file. anyway i used to run a lot of different apps including irshell, somewhere along the line it must of corrupted itself.

anyway, thanks the setup works, 3.90 m33, some other remote joy setups also work with the psp setup you made great work. (to the dude who posted above me, sounds like you have a computer virus lol, had that one before it attacks 16bit apps or unregisters them)
