Categories allows you to create categories on your desktop. These are icons that are like folders that can contain other icons to launch. This allows you to organize your desktop rather than having it be a huge mess. The app comes with a GUI configurator so that you do not have to edit text files. When you add an app to a category, it is removed from the springboard list so that it no longer shows up on the main desktop. When you remove the app from the category it is returned back to the springboard.

Could be completely unrelated but this stopped Mobile Mail from working on my ipod touch.

Other than that it is quite useful, if a little slow. It seems that when you choose an app it goes back to the home screen to launch it, adding to the startup time. Also, pressing the home button does exactly that, meaning you need to go through the files again to find an app in the same folder.

I will pass unless it speeds up, i only have 3 pages of apps at most but for those who want everything from Installer this is very useful to not have 8 pages or more.
