Dark Alex to release Custom Firmware 3.80M33 Today

OK, with the 3.80 M33 firmware coming, I would like someone to help me answer these questions...

I have my PSP with 3.52 M33-4.

What are the advantages and dis-advantages of upgrading to 3.80 M33?

I've heard that since the 3.60 FW, some 1.50 FW kernel functions are gonne.

Can any one clarify this for me plz?

First, there are no disadvantages. Well, yeah, there is no 1.50 Kernel Support on PSP Slims. But the Phat/Older PSPs are 100% compatible with 1.50.

Avantages of upgrading:

- New Official Firmwares features [Radio, Custom Themes, etc.]
- More current and upcoming UMDs playable
- Better compatibility with POPs
- More features added by DAX [like VSHMenu, Auto-Update, More CPU Speeds, etc..]

Disadvantages:

- None


Well, maybe there's one disadvantage... you won't be unique/special because everyone else is on 3.71 M33 and will update to 3.80.

i downgraded from 3.71 m33 '4
to 1.50 then 3.52 m33 ' 4

cause the 1.50 kernel xD

lets hope 3.80 emulates that perfect

Well I doubt MathieuLH would of said otherwise, it's not like he came on and said a vague "it'll be out in a couple of months", he said it would be today! Doesn't have much leg room with that!
