2.70 can't run homebrew. As of right now nothing above 2.60 can You can only run flash homebrew on 2.70 and above.

Actually, the latest eLoader (0.99) works with 2.70/2.71. Only 2.80 folks are out of luck for the moment.

I'd love to see a new version of the old Amiga classic 'Battle Chess'. This version spiced up the game a bit with animations of each peice moving and included gory animations as you took another peice.


A star wars theme for battle chess would be really cool (like the game they play in the first star wars film on the millenium falcon).

Being more of a 'traditional' chess player I decided I wanted some 2d sets that looked more standard than fantasy. The ones that come with the game although detailed are 3d representations which don't quite look right on a 2d board.

Those who play Chessmaster and Fritz will know what I mean between the 3d and 2d views.

it's the random feature that doesn't work :P
u need to select a file while the OFF or the FILE option is choosen...

A little (2 years) late, but I've just started using pspchess. I had the same problem (on M33 3.52 F/W). All I had to do was move the MUSIC folder from mem stick root to under the PSP folder. Possible that the default directory cannot be changed in v0.31?

PS and no, you dont lose the audio playback option in XMB :-P
