Default once i get an 8 gig ms, is it possible to...

alright, i've been around for a wee bit but i figure i would ask people who know much better than i before i go out and get an 8 gig stick. first of all, do they work well, second of all, i got a psx to psp converter. i put in my first disc of final fantasy 9, copied the iso to my computer, then converted it to a psp file since my psx is broken and my ps2 wont read psx games... anywho, the game plays great. i was wondering if the same could be done with a ps2 game. you would clearly need more than 4 gigs to hold it, and im sure the psp could handle it. i wasnt sure if it was possible since i havent seen anything on it...thanks to anyone who can help.

No. It's not possible to be done. Also, a PSP cannot handle the processing power needed to run a PS2 game.

No, but if you want a $65.00 8 gig card you can find them here until January 28th.

You will quite likely have problems running any homebrew that requires the 1.5 kernel if you run it from an 8gb memory stick.

If you have a slim PSP then never mind as it doesn't support the 1.5 kernel anyway.

PS2 on the PSP is not going to happen. Many PS2 games are under 4gb, but its not the size that is the problem.
To emulate a system, the host platform (PSP) needs to be significantly more powerful than the target platform (PS2).
The PSP is less powerful than the PS2, so the PSP could not handle it.
