i can confirm with the sugar-filled hydrogenoptic person, that indeed 3.8 M33 is on darkalex's website, so get it while its hot.

okay, meditare, did you read the readme?
you have to have the original 3.8 sony firmwire, and rename it to 380.PBP
and put that in the update directory, with the custom firmwire for it to work. i did an update on a psp slim with 3.71 M33-4 to 3.8 and it works fine.
also in the readme is this -> - Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher.
if you don't have this, you can't get 3.8 custom

any-way, it seems that my gameboot plugin doesn't work with 3.8 as of yet, apart from that, everything else works nicely.

happy downloading everyone, i think it was worth the wait.

did everything above. after the black screen which scans 380.pbp and another pbp it says sce starting. after that it displayed the error msg...

okay, have you tryed updating this to 3.71m33-4? then trying 3.8-m33?
just an idea. mabye you can't go from 3.71m33-2 to 3.8?

apart from that i'm not too sure.

i tried using 3.71m33-4 to 3.8m33 but i can't so i downgraded using pandora and see whether it works..

any other suggestions?

is it not something you have flashed like an addon or other such thing that would alter the files in flash causing the problem.

i had the same error i used pandora and when back to m3.52-4 and then updated from there and it updated to 3.80m33 fine i think it had to do with your keys. when i went to 3.52-4 and then updated to 3.80m33 the 3.80m33 update file patched my keys and the continue with the 3.80m33 update. so if you have pandora go to 3.52-4 and the update to 3.80m33.thats what worked for me. also i tried cementerio to re flash 3.71-2 but for some reason it still gave me the same error when i tried to update to 3.80m33. so use pandora and the 3.54-4 method. hope it helps

I have to respect the wishes of the coders / cronies of the coders of course and I think we could care less about hosting the files here... but damn... call the frick'n waaahmbulance why don't you.
