Good to know Dreamcast games are still sellin like crazy!
As you might know, G.Rev's excellent horizontal shmup Border Down is getting a reprint sheduled for 17th of January 2008. - Now it seems that the entire stock is already sold out via preorder:

My friend who lives in Tabata (near Tokyo) was gracious enough to go down to Messe Sanoh in Akihabara to order Border Down for me. This happened last week so I thought I had enough time.
Alas, it was completely presold. Perhaps the pressings were more scarce than I'd have thought. My friend went to Akiba around 3-5PM on the 10th of January so it wasn't really all that late.
Back to Ebay, huh? BTW the last few kanji on the sign below reads 'Orders have been finalized' or something.

If anyone is looking to buy, sell, trade games and support a developer directly at the same time, consider joining Goozex. Enjoy!
Why would you do a reprint but have very few copies to sell? I know it's a DC game and they aren't in a crazy high demand, but still. Also didn't Sega stop production of the GD-ROM? I guess there's still quite a few blank gd-roms going around still to press a decent number of reprints. It is good though to see DC games still selling. I'd sure as hell buy a copy if I didn't own the LE already.

SEGA reverted to ROMs for the NAOMI arcade system. This does not affect the Dreamcast at all. GD-ROMs are nothing but CD-ROMs with a high density data track so as long as there's CDs there's the option to produce GDs as well.
Well that's good to hear. I just heard the GD-ROM being discontinued a while ago and didn't know it was just a rumor. I wonder if there's going to be a second batch of these reprints, since it seems to be selling?
