the screen has a silver coating on the back of the lightbox
it's LCD, right?
if it is, then why doesn't it have that weird glare all other LCD devices (pda's for example) have? You know, when the sun hits it, and causes other people watching you not to be able to see the screen right. I never noticed this on the psp, anyone know why?

seems like that would cause more glare, cause of reflectionsOriginally Posted by *o*
no it reflects the light that goes through the screeen back giving you a nicer picture, also the screen has an anti glare coating
The PSP's LCD is a 180-degree LCD so I heard. It's very high-quality, so the colors don't **** up when you're tilting it around.
You do get glare in the sun. Put it under full sunlight and you will see it becomes hard to watch a movie on it.
he means like the low quality lcd computer and pda and such screens, u can only see it well if you are looking right at it, while if u look at it from an angle, its hard to see.

I actually like low quality lcd screens for computers because someone can't as easily see your information, but this screen is perfect for the psp.
Who cares if someone sees your PSP? LoL its not like you can't just drop it in your pocket really fast if mommy catches you watching porn on it...
