    Default Quick upgrade question

    I have a PSP FAT with a 2.82 firmware. I'm looking to upgrade to 3.03 oe c.
Do I need to downgrade to 1.50 or can I just upgrade?

Yes, 1.50 first. But luckily you're still on rather a low firmware. You can either use the 3.03 downgrader which requires GTA:LCS, the 3.50 downgrader which requires Lumines, or Pandora's battery.

Why 3.03oe there are finer firmwares available such as 3.80m33 all the features of 3.03oe and more but unless you use pandora you need to upgrade to 3.52m33 first and the to 3.80m33 but its worth it.

3.80 sounds great but I keep hearing about bugs and poor memory stik performance so I'll stick with a fw I KNOW is solid for now.

    Thanks everyone.

But still, 3.71-M33 and 3.52-M33 are proven to be good...

Plus the other problem is most newer games require a higher firmware to run so could be stuck well in the past using 3.03oe
