Interesting that save states could be over 2 megabytes. I don't need to search tech specs to know that a pre-1990 system like Genesis had far less RAM than that. But hey, I guess that's just the nature of it being an unoptomized beta feature.

DGen WIP News
syn-z released a private beta for download that has experimental save state support. The states are uncompressed; sometimes they will total 2MB or more of memory card space. The author also notes they probably won't be compatible with future version of the emulator since this is a BETA. syn-z has requested that the file not be mirrored and the page not be posted, but we felt like giving you this WIP update.

i don't get how it can be so complicated for this emu to get savestates.i mean,2mb?all the other emus have savestates,isn't it just possible to use someone else's code.
mind you i'm not complaining,i'm just really curious about this technical problem
