PSP + Targus Keyboard

I was planning to buy a targus keyboard for my psp. It currently has a custom firmware (can remember which one atm). I want to use my PSP as a mobile ssh client. I know there's a homebrew somewhere for that but how does the targus keyboard work with PSP? Do i need firmware plugins to make it work ??

I would say the best place to ask any questions not answered in the readme would be ZX's own site or the release thread here at dcemu.
