Default amp rating on smd psp power fuse?

I know my main power fuse in my psp is bad. I don't want to bridge a wire over it because I think that's less than professional. But can anyone tell me what amperage the power fuse is? Is there any chance I might pull one from a slim pstwo? Its ok if not, I'm sure I can find one online for 30 cents plus $10 shipping.

I really just need to know the rating of that fuse. Noone on irc could tell me. So I thought, hmm, maybe Deniska the guru would know. Or anyone else... please help!

This actually isn't my psp. A friend asked me to repair it. I bet a previous owner tried to plug in a wrong power supply/charger.

Which power fuse are you talking about, PSP's have fuses? woo.

You'd be best off asking this at http://forums.ps2dev.org they'd give you a straight answer.

According to This (google cache, server gives a bandwidth exceeded error) its 1.5A.

The charger says it outputs 2000mA but the guy on that forum seems to say a 1.5A is fine. I'd probably go with 2A.

Have you tried another charger on it to make sure its not that?
