    i am not getting that coz its gonna be another long wait for the custom version to be realesed of this version i'm sticking to 3.80 m33-5 for life

    meh, i highly doubt they're going to make another custom fw until probably 4.0

    What I heard was that Sony optimized the code (the pre 3.80 driver was much bigger in size than the new one). Whether this had anything to do with CFW or they wanted to get space freed up in the flash, I don't know.

    Added:

    I hope DA and company get cracking on this, I really want to know if they can get Skype working on the Fat PSP.

    I think it'll be better to wait until 4.0 to make a custom firmware
    Cause this much release of official firmwares sounds to me like an attempt to crack Dark Alex with a bunch of work

    Why can't we use text news items straight into the RSS feeds ?

    Ive been waiting for this feature.

    Can anyone confirm Skype is out on 3.90 fw for North America?

    Huh? Have you not seen the Skype vids that said it was coming out at the end of January?

    But 4.0 is rumored to have Divx support, which if the PS3 is anything to go by, also came with VC-1 (WMV) support.

    No I didn't actually as I didn't pay much attention about it. Not much point if I don't use the Skype service myself.
