[pspuserfw3.90]

im relatively new to this and i have a fw 3.90, when i saved this into the update folder it showed up as corrupted data. is there something i did wrong and/or a way to fix it?

Well since you have upgraded to OFw (original firmware) 3.90 you'll need a pandoras battery... you can buy one off ebay or a place that carries em near you OR find someone who has CFW (custom firmware) to make you a pandoras battery with their psp

Go into recovery menu, then configuration, set fake region to America! it should work now.

i was dreading that, you see im a cheap kind of person, my friend gave me the psp, another gave me a charger so i was hoping not to spend anything but thank you for your help

is there any way i can downgrade to a fw that ill be able to then upgrade to custom fw? if not thats cool but if there is id like to use it

I am on 3.52 M33-4, i run the update with 3.90 already downloaded and it unpacks fine, but then it stays on please wait... forever. Can anyone help me?

I think you must be on 3.80 m33 or 3.71 m33 atleast.. i could be wrong though
