You say it's the first? what about Colloseum? you even say that you return to Orre, where the first was set.

The game will be linear generic crap anyway like the first. I had high hopes for the first GC pokemon but it didnt deliver, in fact it didnt even come close. Utter poo.

Colloseum didnt have a story did it? it just simply just battle. this is a complete story and full RPG from the sounds of it. pokemon is a great concept IMO its just too kiddy for me.

Colosseum did have a story you had to stop that guy, i forgot his name. And bring down that organization. It was in pretty much every sense a 'true' RPG, not up there with SoA, but still a proper rpg.

I was thinking that the other day, Pokemon is an odd concept as it is the most dynamic RPG ever made, yet they've managed to make it so linear. Also the kiddy image doesnt help.

A Pokemon mmorpg is a possibility as Nintendo are really going for this online thing with Ds and Rev. that would be pretty slick, especially if you could load up teams from GBA/DS.

It would be awesome but would require a lot of work from Nintendo. Honestly, Nintendo releases half ass Pokemon games and they still sell like mad so there is no need for them to put so much effort into it.

On the other hand, doing so could sell millions of Revolutions.
