3.90M33 Firmware - Your Verdict ?

Speaking for myself I don't see any reason to upgrade.
I am on 3.71M33 and have no problems.

popsloader works fine in 3.90 of coarse
Is there an option for 3.80 from the popsloader menu?

Some are saying that some ps1 games run fine on 3.80 and not 3.90 or 3.72

Some are saying that some of their home brew does not work.

Upgrading for the sake of upgrading makes little sense.
Upgrade if you need to.

For myself I don't have problems with no umd mode.
I don't want to format my MS because of the new fat driver
I don't need 3.80 or 3.90 pops.

A compelling reasons for me would be:
Full DivX support.
Blu-Ray to PSP (if a firmware upgrade is needed)
A Skype hack for Phat PSP's.

funny, Dgen runs fine for me. with patch applied. i like this new cfw but why is gomessenger not active yet? go to site but says coming soon. apart from that no probs. irshell 3.9 seems to work fine if you patch prxs from attachment below. hope this helps. keep up the goos work Dax and m33

from 3.71 m33 -> 3.80 m33 : everything works fine on my slim

3.90 m33 : irshell now works with patch prxs. when exiting skype, it does not go to XMB. it jus black screen & shut down the psp

I can't use gpsp (the lastest one) in irhsell, it freezes, so does CPS2PSP under irshell.. Skype doesn't load either and if I goto XMB then launch a homebrew from the game menu, its like irshell was never loaded and then the L + SELECT function stops working and I can't go back... I never got Metal Gear Solid to work... how do you guys use popsloader?? I never really needed it till now I guess

yes irshell not fully workable.. yet

3.90 pops works ok using 3.80 popsloader v2

meh i went back to 3.80 M33 - 5 because there was a wifi bug on mine. For some reason i think there's also a sleep bug (when sleeping in game, it will reboot when turned on). Seriously hoping that bug is fixed. I do like the effort although i have to agree, he may have released it a bit too early. This could've been a serious mistake but i guess we got lucky for there are very few bugs.
