ive noticed a large difference tween my 1gb gamer and my ultra II, but only when coping large files

a 900ish mb cso with the gamer took almost 10 min, where as with the ultra II took only about 3

lots of small files and normal use, id get the gamer or the blue

and for the same money get 2x the size (ie 4gb ultra II vs a 8gb blue)

Yep.
I got the Ultra II because it wasnt much more than the standard one at the time in the store I bought it from.

There really is no need to go for them if there is much of a difference in cost as the standard blue will give the same speed boost over a sony or sandisk gaming card that the Ultra does, when used with the PSP.

In a card reader or a new camera or something you'd probably see the benefit of the Ultra II over the standard blue, not in a PSP though.

I've never used a Sandisk memory stick, I've always stuck with the official Sony mem stick. But I always hear they're faster and more reliable, whatever the hell that means. I think I might stick with Sony's memory stick just because that's what I have experience using. Though I hear that the hard drives are complete crap and just a way to make your PSP look like $#@!.

) the 8G's like just under 100$ and the 4G's like 50$ now...yay

LOL! there's a 16 gig already? well havnt seen it in any of the big box xtores but im sure like tigerdirect or sum1 like that has it. wonder how much it is...?
