    For me, Bomberman is a bit like Tetris. The original "pure" idea was so good, that the more you mess with it and add bits to it, the less fun it becomes. Obviously that's not much fun to Hudson, who want to capitalise on the IP, but it's been a long time since I've seen a real improvement to the early Bomberman games.
