FTP Problem

Hi
I have been having trouble with getting my xbox to link up with my computer when i plug in the crossover cable it jus cuts in and out in and out and is never connected for more then 2 seconds im still not sure if it is the xbox or computer, could anybody help me.

whelp. its are you sure its a cross over cable first off? if it wont connect for more then two seconds I suggest you make another one (I assume you made it) or make sure no fans, motors, etc are arround to disrupt the connection. Its much easier to just connect two straight throuhgs through a router, but thats a more expensive proceadure I know.

If you still cant get it to work I suggest you visit the xbox-scene.com forums .
