Default 1.0 GB PSP mem stick screw up!?

just a quick question for you guys out there with a 1 GB mem stick. I formated the memory and browsed the stick on my computer to make sure that there was no data on it. Yet, the psp says that there is only 949 MBs avalible on it. But 1 GB is 1024 MBs. I doubt that the partition information on the memory stick takes up 75 MBs so where in the hell are the other 75 MBs??? Somebody please let me know if all the 1 GB memory sticks are like that or if I should exchange it for a new one.

Dont worry. When you format it..it usually takes up that amount of space. That what always happen when you reformat cards/harddrives
