I just got Shenmue today. (found it at a store in Cleveland for $12.00) I Put in DISC 1 in my Dreamcast, and one of these 4 things happens:

  • Goes to SEGA Screen (produced\under licenced) > Stays there
  • Goes to SEGA Screen > Loads > Black screen (nothing happens)
  • SEGA > Loads >"Now Loading" screen (GD-ROM Works for a second then stays there)
  • Sega > Back to boot menu (play\music\etc)


I don't know whats wrong. My Drive plays All my CD-Rs and my GD-Rs (including Shenmue 2-3 and Passport). The Disc is like new! (minor scratches outside of the Data Area)

i guess that it could have been played on track 1 (if it does anything, i heard it just makes irritating noise, i guess it could damage the disc area i don't know i'm not much of an Expert on GDs\CDs except you can write on them, play with them, listen to them.

Any Idea's I would really appreciate it! :thumbup:
