It's strange that's there an Atari 2600 emulator on the Hand Held PC----GP32----DC----

That would have been pretty easy to port.
So why has no one bothered ?

    what PSP most needs:
    PSX emulator
    N64 emulator
    GBA emulator that works
    ports of some good games
    a MMF PSP version ^^
Saying that just made me lose all respect for you.

i knew emus were coming... didnt think they would be as good as they r this fast. the one thing we have going for us is the six buttons and the analog stick. that makes the emus fun to use, and most systems will be covered easily. just enjoy it, alot of them run very good at this stage, and u get a chance to play the system u never had. i think we should be grateful. VERY!!!

Honestly, all currently I want added to present emulators is two things:

-Save state for Neo Geo CD

-Full screen & save state for the SMS (yes I actually play that)

The GBA emu is kind of gargbage; if someone redid that one entirely that'd be cool...

AND - a MAME emu for pre-1990-ish (anything after might be pushing it, but 80's games should gun great)

Also isn't there supposed to be something announced on August 25th; something MAJOR I forget the details...

Oh and that PSone emulator claims it will be released Sept. 1st

I'd like to see Gamegenie support for the oldschool stuff because I'm terrible at it. I think the PSP homebrew scene tags along with the PSP, so it gets to that time of year and games are coming out like crazy, the scene will pickup some momentum.

This is possibly the most appropriate response to your post: If it's so easy then why don't you do it?

1timeuser, your empty sarcasm always makes my day....

Oh, and everyone else, The homebrew "scene" is slowing because less people are willing to give up thier homebrew for Firmware. I don't blame them. Homebrew is very insecure when it comes to ruining your PSP. Many people just don't want to take a chance.

Not only that, but the PSP may have the power to run these emulators, but barely any of them run at a decent frame rate, not to mention that controls from many of the pre-pre-historic systems would not be easily implemented without another nub or more shoulder buttons.I'm not saying these are not possible, but it would be very hard to play some of these games without more controls.

i just wnt people to finish what they started
we have a GBA, a PSX and a Genesis emulator, they are just incomplete
people have fun porting things (well, I have...)
MFX for VMU worked quite well, if you remember (it's unoficial and only in corean)

when NG was released i bought one with 2 games, now it's in the garage, getting some dust, as I can play the same games and more in my pc :P
