    Default snes emulator

    could you save game data on the psp i am playing super metroid i dont know how to save my game data if you could please respond

    I assume you are using snes9xTYL-0.4.2me as the emulator.

    I don't see why the game's original form of saving doesn't work, but if it isn't for whatever reason then just use save states.

    Pause the game, press the R and L triggers on the top of the PSP at the same time and you enter the emulator's menu. In this menu O is 'OK/Accept' and X is 'Cancel/Back', the opposite of normal.
    Press right on the d-pad to scroll over to Load/Save, then press down to go to 'Save State' and press O.
    Choose a slot to save in and press O.

    To load the save it's the same process, but just choose load state instead of save state in the menu.


    EDIT: SNES9xTYL may me one of the emulators that only writes the save data to memory stick when you exit the emulator, so make sure you are quitting by using the option from the emulator's menu, not by the home button or by just turning the PSP off.
