    Default pandoras battery

    or jig stick whatever its called

    but ok i was watching videos on how to create your own battery by cutting off the little pin and i succeded i think, well i was looking at it and it looks as if i cut it my psp still starts up but how do i test it to find out if it worked.

    is there anything that tests the battery out?

    To test it take out the battery and then insert the one you modded the psp should power up on its own, but if you dont have a magic memstick it wont start fully, if it does start fully but only if you have switch it on manually then it more than likely hasnt worked.

    well i tested it out and it turns on but without the magic stick does this mean i didnt do it right?

    From what I understand you made the battery right.
    If you insert the modded battery your psp should power up on it's own, so if that is happening, the battery is made just right.

    What hodgy means is that the battery is only half of what you need, in order to install cfw you need a magic memory stick aswell.
